Italian Citizenship
In order to assess your eligibility for Italian citizenship by descent, we need to know your family history.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to fill out the following form with the information you have regarding your family members, trying to be as precise as possible especially when indicating dates and names.
You need to start from your Italian ancestor who was born in Italy and emigrated to your country. Usually it will be your great grandfather/mother or grandfather/mother. It is important to know if and when your Italian ancestor naturalized (acquired the citizenship of the country he/she emigrated to) and also if any other relative down the line ever formally renounced their Italian citizenship (we know you might not have this information).
Moreover, we would need to know what documents you have already collected regarding your relatives.
