The UK government has reached an agreement with the European Union on citizens’ rights in negotiations related to Brexit. The agreement will allow Italian citizens to stay in the UK after 29 March 2019, and to continue to access public funds and services.
According to the British Government, there is no need for EU citizens – and therefore Italian citizens – living in the UK to do anything for the moment. There will be no change to the status of EU citizens living in the UK while the UK remains in the EU.
However, should you want to find out the latest information regarding the status of EU citizens living in the UK, we suggest signing up for official email updates.
